Concrete walls are the norm in Jersey City’s modern luxury high-rises — Newport, Exchange Place, the waterfront towers along the Hudson. Standard drywall anchors won’t cut it here. We use masonry anchors and hammer drills to mount cleanly and securely into concrete, the same way we do it across the river in Manhattan. The result is a mount that will outlast the TV on it.
Plaster walls show up in Jersey City’s older housing stock — Hamilton Park brownstones, Paulus Hook rowhouses, the pre-war buildings throughout the Heights and Bergen-Lafayette. Plaster requires a different technique than drywall: we use anchors specifically designed for plaster and work carefully to avoid cracking the surrounding surface. Most customers are surprised how clean and solid a plaster install looks when it’s done right.
Drywall over steel studs is what you’ll find in newer mid-rise buildings throughout the Journal Square corridor and rapidly developing blocks near Grove Street PATH. We locate studs precisely with professional equipment and anchor properly into them — not just toggled into the drywall face.
We work in co-ops, condos, and rental buildings. We carry a Certificate of Insurance and can name your building or HOA as additional insured. Most Jersey City building managers and management companies accept our documentation without issue.

We plan before we drill. Every install starts with a wall assessment. We identify wall type, locate stud or anchor points, and map out cable routing before we make a single hole. Jersey City’s older brownstones can have plumbing and conduit in non-standard locations — we check for all of it first.

My building requires a COI — can you provide one? Yes. We carry full liability insurance and can provide a Certificate of Insurance naming your building or management company as additional insured. Most buildings accept our documentation same-day.
