TV Mounting Williamsburg Brooklyn | Picture Perfect Mounting
TV Mounting in Williamsburg, Brooklyn
Williamsburg has some of the most varied — and most demanding — wall situations in all of New York City. Converted factory lofts with exposed brick and raw concrete, modern glass towers with poured concrete walls, and older tenement buildings with plaster over lath. In every case, standard TV mounting hardware doesn’t cut it. We bring specialized masonry anchors, hammer drill bits for brick and concrete, and the technique that comes from doing these installs in Williamsburg specifically. One flat rate, no surprises, fully insured.
This Neighborhood Has Three Completely Different Wall Types. We Handle All of Them.
Most of Williamsburg’s most desirable apartments — the loft conversions that made the neighborhood famous — were built as industrial spaces, not residences. The walls weren’t designed with drywall and studs in mind. They were built to last decades of manufacturing. That’s great news for durability, and a real issue for anyone who doesn’t come prepared with the right tools.
Exposed brick is the signature feature of converted warehouse and factory lofts throughout South Williamsburg and East Williamsburg. It looks incredible as a backdrop for a mounted TV or gallery wall — but it requires masonry anchors and a hammer drill to install into correctly. Standard drywall anchors will not hold in brick. We do exposed brick TV mounts and gallery wall installs regularly in this neighborhood and know exactly which anchor types work cleanly in Williamsburg’s brick without damaging the face.
Raw concrete walls are common in newer Williamsburg high-rises and also appear as structural columns and ceilings in converted loft spaces. Concrete is the hardest wall material we work with, but it holds anchors extremely well when done with the right hardware. We bring concrete masonry anchors and the hammer drill required for them on every Williamsburg job.
Plaster walls appear in the older tenement buildings and row houses throughout the neighborhood — blocks away from the lofts but a completely different construction. Plaster over wood lath requires different anchors and technique than both drywall and masonry. Stud finders frequently misread plaster, and drilling incorrectly can crack the surface. We identify the wall type before we drill.
A/C installations in Williamsburg lofts and brick buildings are a specialty. Old factory conversions often have brick or concrete surrounds around window openings, and window unit installations need to be anchored into that masonry — not just propped on the sill. We handle the full bracket setup and anchor it into the surrounding brick or concrete so the unit is properly secured, not just sitting there.
What We Check Before We Drill — Every Time
Williamsburg lofts and converted buildings often have walls that don’t behave the way they look. A plaster wall in a tenement can be much thinner than standard. A concrete column in a converted factory can surprise you with rebar placement or hollow sections near the surface. We assess the wall before we do anything — and in buildings with brick backing behind plaster (common in older Williamsburg tenement stock), we identify that before we commit to anchor placement.
Building management doesn’t scare us. Whether it’s a new luxury tower requiring a same-day COI, a loft building with strict no-damage policies, or a co-op that needs super sign-off before any drilling, we’ve dealt with it. We come prepared with our insurance documentation and know how to work within building protocols — it’s not something you should have to manage.
We map before we drill. In Williamsburg specifically, converted loft spaces can have pipes, conduit, and structural elements running through walls in places you wouldn’t expect from a residential build. We work out exactly where the mount and any cable runs will go before we pick up a drill. We check for all of it first — no guessing, no surprises after the fact.

Common Questions from Williamsburg Customers
Can you mount a TV into exposed brick?
Yes — this is one of the most common installs we do in Williamsburg. Exposed brick requires masonry anchors and a hammer drill. We select anchors that hold securely without cracking or chipping the brick face. The end result is a rock-solid mount that looks clean against the brick.
What about raw concrete walls?
Concrete is actually an excellent mounting surface once you have the right tools. We bring concrete masonry anchors and the hammer drill for every job — concrete walls hold anchors extremely well. Many newer Williamsburg buildings and loft columns are concrete.
My loft has 12-foot ceilings. Does that affect the curtain rod or shelving installation?
It affects the hardware we use and the approach, not the price. We’ve installed curtain rods and floating shelves in loft spaces throughout Williamsburg and know how to work at height safely and cleanly.
Can you install a window A/C in my loft? The window surround is brick.
Yes. Window openings with brick surrounds need the A/C bracket anchored into the masonry — we do this regularly in the neighborhood. We handle the full install: masonry anchoring, bracket, unit placement, and leveling.
Do you do gallery walls in open-plan spaces?
Yes, and we do a lot of them in Williamsburg. Open-plan loft layouts are ideal for large gallery wall installations — we handle the full layout, spacing, leveling, and installation on whatever wall surface you have.
How does pricing work?
Flat rate pricing — the price is the same regardless of your wall type or building. No upcharges for brick, concrete, or loft ceilings.
