Irish Exit — Art on Concrete
Irish Exit — Art on Concrete

Framed pieces mounted on a poured-concrete wall at a bar. Concrete is one of the surfaces people call us about after a first attempt has failed: standard drywall anchors do nothing in it, and the wrong bit will either skate across the surface or chip it.
We used a masonry bit and sleeve anchors sized for the frame weight, located the holes so they fall behind the frames, and hung each piece level on the exposed wall. The result is art that looks like it belongs on the concrete rather than fighting it.
Brick, block, plaster and concrete all need different anchors. We carry them all, so the surface is never the reason a piece cannot go up.
