Restaurant Frame Wall
Restaurant Frame Wall

A long run of framed photographs above banquette seating in a NYC restaurant, hung as one continuous band so it reads as a single line from the entrance. A run like this is really one long gallery wall with a strict top line.
We snapped a level line the full length of the wall, set the spacing between frames once, and repeated it, checking the top edge of every frame against the line. Because the seating is fixed, we also set the height so the bottom edge clears heads and shoulders when the booths are full.
Restaurant installs are usually scheduled around service; we can work early mornings or after close.
